Ben recommended this little number as I have never been a Rosa quaffer however after a bottle my 2 Jack Russells thought I was quite amusing 🐶🐶

I found Depaula very good with marinated rabbit 🐿

A classy wine if ever there was one! I had heads turning as I drank it owing to it's deep golden colour.
It is very smooth with subtle notes of apple and melon. Very quaffable.

This wine has a good combination of tastes of traditional and modern styles of winemaking from the Rioja region. Notes of brambles, cherries, and vanilla can be picked out. There's no need to necessarily pair it with any particular food, because it is very quaffable on its own. I'm glad I bought more than one bottle, because I keep going back to this one!

This was great value managed to save a couple for Xmas.🍾

Loved the wine especially with Chicken Paella

The first sip after opening the bottle I was a little disapponted in that the wine tasted rather watery, and left a tingle on the tongue. However, after 10 minutes the character of the wine changed significantly, smooth, well rounded and full of flavour, with, I felt a hint of dark chocolate. I would have no hesitation in buying more.

I think this is currently our favourite, go to wine. Smooth on the palette, well rounded and full of flavour. I can´t say much more about it other than I keep buying more of it.

The first bottle was served at a temperature of 8 degrees. Straight from a refrigerator. Drank as a toast after a meal of fish rice dishes. The four guests each had a different view. One said too dry for his taste but full of flavour. The second one felt it was just right, crisp and light. Number three didn't have a strong opinion, just liked bubbly and the fourth was gushing about flavour and lingering notes. The second bottle was consumed between just two of us with only nuts and dried fruit to accompany the occasion. We are both wine drinkers and my friends makes cocktails. So half the bottle was consumed in a cocktail served at 12 degrees from the wine cabinet. Finally I got to taste the gentle dry flavours of Mediterranean earthiness, also at 12 degrees. A delightful cava.

Discovered this wine at a Simply Spanish Wine tasting and it is a great find.
