Collection: Sparkling Wine
Outside Spain, you hear little talk of Cava, but it's an exceptional drink and, in our humble opinion, is far superior to Prosecco, with which it is often compared.
Like Champagne, Cava is made using the so-called 'traditional' method, which involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle (as opposed to in tanks like Prosecco), and a minimum of nine months ageing in the bottle. This results in more complex flavours and those 'bready' notes you often get with champagne. Quite delicious!
We're starting with a small selection here, but as people get to realise the quality of Spain's own bubbly we'll be sure to expand our range.
